We're all using it but have we considered the best ways to use it?  To me, "best ways" would be the ways that maximize effective communication and treat time (ours and those with whom we're communicating) as the valuable resource that it is.  Here's a link to a good basic article on email use:

 

 

My pet peeve has got to be the blank or overly general subject line.  In addition, it seems as though I find myself spending more and more time trying to edit my emails for clarity before sending, even the relatively "simple" ones.
